Bio
Caitlyn Connors is a 22 year old woman who was born and raised outside of Philadelphia. Connors currently lives in Wellington, Florida, where she has developed an equestrian business in the riding capital of the world. At 18, Connors became a professional equestrian show jumper due to her representation with the luxury brand Hermés. While running her business and upholding this sponsorship, she studies at the University of Miami, where she will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Communication and minor in Marketing. Connors chose to pursue a Communication degree after she had the opportunity to work with the magazines such as Teen Vogue and Forbes. She realized during this time that she really enjoyed working with the press, so what could be a better way to improve herself than dedicating her education to studying Communications.
Connors enjoys working and competing with her horses while representing Hermés as fashion is another passion of hers. Caitlyn interned with Hermés’s fashion department in order to expand her knowledge on the brand’s fashion side of business. During this time, she worked in the New York City headquarters during the week and traveled to meet her team for competitions on the weekend. After this experience, she hopes she can help Hermés improve not only their fashion house, but also their equestrian brand as a top American show jumping athlete.
Outside of her equestrian career, Connors is very close with her family. She especially loves to support her brother’s hockey career at the University of Massachusetts. It is important to Connors to keep up with his success as her brother is her only sibling. She has found the two can really relate to one another as they are both balancing their education and a rigorous athletic lifestyle. When Connors is not traveling for her career, she tries to prioritize going to see her family and spend her free time with them.
